Users should take note of a change coming to Wikia: the site had been slowly changing its branding from "Wikia" to "Wikia Fandom" to simply "Fandom." To coincide with that, the main domain name is changing to fandom.com, meaning we will now be at snl.fandom.com rather than snl.wikia.com. As of now, the new URL scheme isn't up and running. (And this confusion over what Wikia is is nothing new- when Wikia started, it was called WikiCities.)
I mention this because of the rollout dates. The change is scheduled for "early 2019," which in practice probably means a couple of months of nothing, sitewide outages, glitches, and broken links throughout spring; certificate errors over the summer; and with luck, it will all be working this time next year. However, some communities will be transitioning within the next few weeks. We might be one of them. I got a messages saying "your community has been selected," but it was while browsing another wiki, so I don't know if the message applied to that wiki or one I administer.
Given the shitstorm that tends to accompany huge sitewide redesigns, there are likely to be glitches. So, if within the next month you find bookmarks, links, etc. no longer working, try changing the address to "fandom.com" instead of "wikia.com" And in the (likely) event that none of the links work, I will use my user blog at wikia's community section (community.wikia.com) to say so.
