Tom "Bones" Malone is an American musician. He was an original member of the Saturday Night Live Band, who also served as musical director during the Dick Ebersol years of Saturday Night Live. After he was heard performing with Ten Wheel Drive and Genya Ravan, he received a call from SNL; and from 1975 to 1985 he worked as arranger for Saturday Night Live and from 1981 to 1985 as musical director.

He wrote the chart for the skit that introduced John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd as the Blues Brothers. As a member of the SNL Band, he backed up The Blues Brothers on SNL, and went on to a prominent role in The Blues Brothers movie. Since leaving SNL, he has been a member of "The CBS Orchestra" on David Letterman's The Late Show (whose bandleader is fellow SNL alum Paul Shaffer).
