Sheryl Crow (born February 11, 1962) is an American singer-songwriter, musician, multi-instrumentalist, performer, record producer, actress and political activist. She appeared on Saturday Night Live as a musical guest on October 5, 1996 where she performed "If It Makes You Happy" and "Love is a Good Thing," on October 3, 1998 where she performed "My Favorite Mistake" and on October 29, 2005 where she performed "Good Is Good" and "Strong Enough" and also appeared in the opening monologue, the "Harmonies" sketch and the "Lance's Song" sketch.
