Sharon Stone (born March 10, 1958) is an American actress, film producer and former fashion model best known for her roles as Catherine Tramell in the 1992 erotic thriller film Basic Instinct and as Ginger McKenna Rothstein in the 1995 crime drama film Casino. She hosted Saturday Night Live on April 11, 1992.
She was also impersonated by Nancy Carell on the December 2, 1995 episode during "The Joe Pesci Show" sketch, by Gwyneth Paltrow on the February 6, 1999 episode during the "Impeachment Coverage" sketch and by Amy Poehler six times from February 7, 2004 to April 8, 2006.
