Anna Faris hosted the 3rd episode of Season 34 and the 639th episode of Saturday Night Live, which premiered on September 27, 2008. Duffy was the musical guest. Former longtime cast members Tina Fey and Chris Parnell made cameo appearances in this episode as well. As always, Tina Fey was playing Sarah Palin, during the cold open. Duffy’s only musical guest stint was made in this episode, and this is also the first hosting stint for Anna Faris on SNL.
