The 46th season of Saturday Night Live will commence on October 3, 2020. It has been confirmed that the new season will also return to Studio 8H. The first time the season will be produced in-studio since March 7 (the Daniel Craig episode). Afterwards, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the season shut down production in studio, and was done at the cast's homes (now called "SNL at Home"). The only other thing known about this season is that featured player Ego Nwodim will be promoted to Repertory Status this season. It has not been confirmed that the rest of the cast will return, or who's hosting the premiere, but, presumably, those answers will get revealed, as the season nears.
