Richard "Rich" Hall (born June 10, 1954) is an American comedian, writer and musician. He was a member of the SNL cast during season 10. Following his retirement from SNL, Hall returned to standup, as well as doing a series of commercials for Pizza Hut. Hall is arguably best known for authoring a parody dictionary called "Sniglets, Words that are Not in the Dictionary but Should Be", which contained made-up words that reflected real-world situations, such as "Essoasso (noun): Driver who swerves through a service station to avoid a red light." The "sniglets" books also inspired a board game by the same name, where players could make their own sniglets.
