Prince William, Duke of Cambridge KG KT (William Arthur Philip Louis; born June 21, 1982), is the elder son of Charles, Prince of Wales and Diana, Princess of Wales, and third eldest grandchild of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. He is second in the line of succession, behind his father, to the thrones of sixteen independent sovereign states known as the Commonwealth realms. He married American actress Meghan Markle in 2018. Although he has never been on Saturday Night Live, he has been impersonated by Andy Samberg on November 20, 2010 and April 2, 2011, both during the "Royal Engagement" sketch, on December 10, 2011 during the "Pippa Visits the Queen" sketch, by Mikey Day on Weekend Update on January 20, 2018 and in the "Royal Wedding Reception" sketch on May 19, 2018.
