Paul Rudd (born April 6, 1969) is an American actor, comedian and screenwriter best known for his roles as Mike Hannigan on the NBC sitcom Friends from 2002 to 2004, David in the 2005 buddy comedy film The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Pete in the 2007 romantic comedy drama film Knocked Up, Danny Donahue in the 2008 comedy film Role Models, Peter Klaven in the 2009 bromantic comedy film I Love You, Man, Bobby Newport on the NBC comedy television series Parks and Recreation, co-starring Amy Poehler, and as Scott Lang/Ant-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

He hosted Saturday Night Live on November 15, 2008 and on December 11, 2010 and made cameos on May 16, 2009 during the "Goodnight Saigon" musical sketch, on March 6, 2010 during the "What Up With That?" sketch and on November 19, 2011 during the "Affectionate Family" sketch where he reprised his role as Austin Vogelcheck.
