Osama bin Mohammed bin Awad bin Laden (Arabic: أسامة بن محمد بن عوض بن لادن‎, ʾUsāmah bin Muḥammad bin ʿAwaḍ bin Lādin; March 10, 1957 – May 2, 2011) was the founder of al-Qaeda, the jihadist organization responsible for the September 11 attacks on September 11, 2001 in the United States, along with numerous other mass-casualty attacks against civilian and military targets.

Although he has never been on Saturday Night Live, he has been impersonated by Will Ferrell on December 1, 2001 during the "Pep Talk" sketch and on December 15, 2001 during the "CBS News Special Report" sketch, by Jimmy Fallon on February 15, 2003 and on January 10, 2004, both during the "Saddam & Osama" sketch, by Seth Meyers on October 30, 2004 during the "Osama's Address" sketch, by Fred Armisen on May 7, 2011 during the "Osama bin Laden Video Will" sketch and by Paul Brittain on December 10, 2011 during "The Apocalypse" filmed commercial sketch.
