Opening montage
After three seasons, a brand new opening for the 2003-04 season is introduced. It has a Grand Central Terminal theme (complementing the new stage, and is still used to this day), with a "first-person" camera following the cast members who are found around various sections of the subway, and local eateries. Additionally, Chris Kattan, Tracy Morgan, and Dean Edwards are gone from the intro, since they left the show prior to this season. Will Forte, Seth Meyers, and Jeff Richards were all promoted to Repertory Players; and the first credit for Finesse Mitchell and Kenan Thompson, who joined the cast as featured players. This opener is the first since season 11, to not to credit the Saturday Night Live Band, which is now permanent.
