The 2nd episode of Season 23 and the overall 428th episode of Saturday Night Live, hosted by actor Matthew Perry, star of the hit NBC series Friends with British rock band Oasis as the musical guest. This is Perry's only time as host, thus making him the fourth cast member from the hit sitcom Friends to host. This is also the only musical guest appearance on SNL for Oasis.
