The 832nd episode and 3rd episode of Saturday Night Live's 43rd season premiered on October 14, 2017. It was hosted by Pakistani-American stand-up comedian and actor Kumail Nanjiani, with musical guest Pink, a singer, songwriter and dancer. This will be Kumail Nanjiani's hosting debut. This is also Pink's 3rd musical guest appearance and her first appearance in 11 years on SNL.

The last time Pink was the musical guest on December 6, 2003, the seventh episode of SNL's 29th season, hosted by the civil rights Baptist minister, talk show host and politician, the Rev. Al Sharpton.
