The 974th episode and 6th episode of Season 50, as well as the thirteenth post-U.S. Presidential Election episode of Saturday Night Live premiered on November 9, 2024, hosted by stand-up comedian, actor, filmmaker, and podcaster Bill Burr, the host of the twice-weekly Monday Morning Podcast since 2007 and co-founded the All Things Comedy network in 2012, he also created, co-wrote, and voiced the lead character Frank Murphy in the Netflix's classic hit adult animated sitcom F Is for Family, guest starred on the Disney+ series The Mandalorian and starred in the hit films The King of Staten Island, The Opening Act, Old Dads, Drugstore June and Unfrosted and his stand-up comedy specials including You People Are All the Same, I'm Sorry You Feel That Way, Walk Your Way Out, Paper Tiger, Friends Who Kill and Live at Red Rocks, as well as the 2023 animated musical comedy film Leo and he's even currently on tour with his Bill Burr Live show, with musical guest Mk.Gee, a singer-songwriter, music producer, and multi-instrumentalist. Burr previously hosted SNL on the October 10, 2020 episode, the second episode of SNL's 46th season, with musical guest Jack White.
Mk.Gee made his musical guest debut and this is the 2nd time as the host on SNL for Bill Burr.
