The 7th episode of Season 22 and the 413th episode of Saturday Night Live, premiered on November 23, 1996. It was hosted by former longtime cast member Phil Hartman, star of the NBC's hit comedy series NewsRadio, with musical guests Bush. Phil Hartman made his second and last hosting appearance on SNL before his death on May 28, 1998. This is also the second musical guest appearance on SNL for Bush.
