Notes/Trivia[]

  • This episode was dedicated to the memory of Lou Reed, who died five days before the episode aired due to a liver disease. Reed appeared as the musical guest on November 15, 1986.
  • Lorne Michaels’ credit scrolls up when the first note of the theme starts. On all versions, the cheers and applause track from the studio is used. After Don Pardo’s credit, the I love ny and copyright notice appears and after the clock appears, the logos do.
