The 889th episode, 18th episode and the Season 45 Finale of Saturday Night Live, billed as Saturday Night Live At Home premiered on May 9, 2020, hosted by longtime former cast member Kristen Wiig, with musical guest Boyz II Men, who performed "A Song for Mama" featuring Babyface. This is Kristen Wiig's 3rd hosting stint and Boyz II Men's musical guest debut on SNL. Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, the episode was created via livestreams and home-made recordings.[1] Since Season 46 resumed production in-studio, this is the final episode of "SNL at Home".

Trivia[]
- Though none of the cast members left due to the pandemic, this is still the final episode for longtime writer James Anderson, (previously a writer since 2000), who left the show after 20 years.
- This was also Andrew Dismukes' final episode as a writer. Dismukes previously worked as a writer at the show since 2017, and was promoted to the cast the very next season.
- Lastly, it was the final episode, for longtime SNL Band Guitarist Jared Scharff (who had previously been with the band since 2007), as he left the band after 13 years to pursue other ventures.

- Kristen Wiig is the sixth longtime former cast member to host the season finale of Saturday Night Live, after Dan Aykroyd (Season 28), Will Ferrell (Season 34), Andy Samberg (Season 39), Fred Armisen (Season 41), and Tina Fey (Season 43).
- Wiig is also the second longtime former cast member to host the season finale of SNL, after Fey.
- Kristen Wiig — > Chris Rock is one of the rare instances in SNL history where we get back-to-back episodes with alumni hosting the show.
