The 966th episode and 18th episode of Saturday Night Live's 49th season which premiered on May 4, 2024, hosted by pop sensation, singer and songwriter Dua Lipa, who also served as the episode's musical guest. Dua Lipa previously made her 2nd musical guest appearances on SNL on the following dates: On February 3, 2018, the thirteenth episode of SNL's 43rd season, hosted by the Israeli-American actress Natalie Portman, and on December 19, 2020, the ninth episode and Christmas show of SNL's 46th season, hosted by longtime former cast member Kristen Wiig. This is Dua Lipa's first-time hosting, and her 3rd musical guest appearance was made on SNL.

The goodnights speech for Dua Lipa is "Thanks to Jerry Seinfeld, Thanks to Troye Sivan, Thank You Lorne Michaels, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You, Everybody, This Has Been Incredible, Thank You to Everyone on Stage, Eveyone Behind the Scenes for Making This Happen, This Has Been Unbelievable, Have a Good Night". Teeny Tiny Statement Pin   A commercial advertises a product that allows celebrities to make smaller statements on complicated issues while on the red carpet.
Jingle Pitch 2   Business executives (Dua Lipa, Bowen Yang) enlist help from a local band (Andrew Dismukes, James Austin Johnson) to come up with a catchy jingle for their flooring business. With Chloe Fineman and Devon Walker as jingle employees. Also, Devon Walker reached his 100th sketches on SNL.
Goodbyes and Closing Credits   Dua Lipa thanked Jerry Seinfeld, Troye Sivan, Lorne Michaels and everybody of SNL and everyone of "Behind the Scenes" for making this happened, it's been unbelievable. Only appearance of Chloe Troast.
