The season finale of Season 17 and the 326th episode overall of Saturday Night Live, hosted by actor Woody Harrelson, star of the hit NBC sitcom Cheers, the animated film Free Birds and the film Zombieland: Double Tap with Miss America 1984 and R&B singer and songwriter Vanessa Williams as the musical guest. It premiered on May 16, 1992. This is Woody Harrelson's 2nd time as the host and Vanessa Williams made her musical guest debut on SNL.

This marked the final episode for longtime cast member Victoria Jackson, (a cast member since 1986; at the time, she then became the longest serving female cast member, with a total of 6 seasons), as she left the show after six years.

This would be also the last episode for first-year middle category player Siobhan Fallon and featured player Beth Cahill, as they both would let go after only one season.
