The 908th episode, 19th (and penultimate) episode of Saturday Night Live's 46th season premiered on May 15, 2021. It was hosted by comedian and actor Keegan-Michael Key, star of the former rival FOX's sketch comedy show MadTV and the Comedy Central's hit comedy series Key & Peele, as well as the hit films the Hotel Transylvania franchise, Keanu, Don't Think Twice, Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey and Wendell & Wild and Disney and Pixar's hit animated film Toy Story 4, with singer-songwriter and actress Olivia Rodrigo as the musical guest, who performed "drivers license" and "good 4 u".
This was Keegan-Michael Key's first-time hosting, making the only time that a former cast member from the rival FOX's clasic sketch comedy show MADtv has ever hosted, and Olivia Rodrigo made her musical guest debut on SNL.
Keegan-Michael Key's goodnights speech is "Thanks to Olivia Rodrigo, Thank You to Lorne, Thank You to The Cast, Thank You to The Crew, Thank You to Everyone Out There Tonight Who Is Watching, I Just Want to Tell You, This Was Better Than the Dream, So, I Just Want to Say Thank You Elle, I Love You, Everybody Have a Safe Happy Wonderful and Prosperous Summer, Uh We'll See You Next Season-- I Hope to See You Next Season". (Cheers and applause)
