The 849th episode and 20th episode of Saturday Night Live's 43rd season premiered on May 12, 2018, hosted by stand-up comedian and actress Amy Schumer, star of the Comedy Central and later Paramount+ sketch comedy series Inside Amy Schumer, with musical guest Kacey Musgraves, a country singer. Schumer previously hosted SNL on October 10, 2015, the second episode of SNL's 41st season, with musical guest The Weeknd, a Canadian singer and songwriter. This is Amy Schumer's 2nd time as host. This is also Kacey Musgraves' musical guest debut on SNL.
