King on Saturday Night NewsLine
Mark King is an actor who appeared on the March 7, 1981 episode, portraying Dr. Jonathan Lear in the segment Saturday Night NewsLine (a retitled version of Weekend Update). He also portrayed Marshall Lipton on two episodes of the television show Cheers. It is uncertain, and sources differ, on whether or not he is the same Mark King that fronts the rock band Level 42, who appeared on the May 17, 1986 episode.
