The 14th episode of Season 28 and the 539th episode of Saturday Night Live, hosted by rapper, actress, and singer Queen Latifah, star of the FOX's hit comedy series Living Single and the CBS crime drama series The Equalizer with musical guest Ms. Dynamite. It premiered on March 28, 2003.
This is the only time Ms. Dynamite is the musical guest on SNL, and this is also the first time as host for Queen Latifah.
Queen Latifah's goodnights speech is Thank you so much to Ms. Dynamite. The incredible Dan Aykroyd. My mommy, my daddy, my family! The incredible cast! Aaron Winston, Buddy Lang! Shah! Tammy! Lorne! Everyone! This is a lifelong dream! Thank you so much! Y'all have a good time tonight! (Applause)
