The 864th episode and 14th episode of Saturday Night Live's 44th season premiered on March 2, 2019, hosted by former SNL writer, writing supervisor and producer, stand-up comedian and actor John Mulaney, with country singer-songwriter Thomas Rhett as the musical guest. Mulaney previously hosted SNL on the April 14, 2018 episode, the eighteenth episode of SNL's 43rd season, with musical guest Jack White. This is John Mulaney's 2nd time hosting and Thomas Rhett made his musical guest debut on SNL.

The goodnights speech for John Mulaney is "Thanks to Thomas Rhett, Ben Stiller, Bill Hader, All the Cast and Writers, This is the Gr- The Greatest Place in the World, Thank You So Much for Watching, Good Night, Everybody". (Cheers and applause).

Bodega Bathroom A customer (Pete Davidson) asks a bodega owner to use the bathroom, setting off a musical chain of events.
