The fifteenth episode of Season 19 and the 361st episode of Saturday Night Live premiered on March 12, 1994, hosted by figure skater and actress Nancy Kerrigan with musical guest Aretha Franklin, an R&B and soul singer and songwriter. This was the only appearance for Nancy Kerrigan and Aretha Franklin‘s second and final time as musical guest on SNL before her death in 2018.

This marked the first episode for Michael McKean as a cast member.
