Leroy "Leon" Pendarvis (variously credited as Leroy Pendarvis, Leon Pendarvis, and L. Leon Pendarvis) is an American musician and keyboardist who serves as musical director and live band conductor of the Saturday Night Live Band. Pendarvis started with the SNL band in season 6, back in 1980. Pendarvis can usually be seen at the front of the band, far camera-left; as conductor, he is often seen signalling the band to start and stop.

Pendarvis is also a member of the modern Blues Brothers Band, alongside original band members Lou Marini and Steve Cropper.The "Original" Blues Brothers™ Band He was the husband of singer and chorist Janice Pendarvis (born Janice Gadsden), who sang for Roberta Flack, Sting, Philip Glass, David Bowie, and the Naked Brothers Band.
