Kevin Spacey, CBE (born Kevin Spacey Fowler; July 26, 1959) is an American actor, director, screenwriter, producer and crooner best known for his roles as John Doe in the 1995 thriller film Seven, Roger "Verbal" Kint in the 1995 neo-noir film The Usual Suspects, Det. Sgt. Jack Vincennes in the 1997 neo-noir film L.A. Confidential and as Lester Burnham in the 1999 drama film American Beauty. He hosted Saturday Night Live on January 11, 1997 and on May 20, 2006.
He was also impersonated by Jeff Richards on the January 19, 2002 episode during the "Now That's What Actors Call Singing!" sketch, and was impersonated 19 years later by Andrew Dismukes during the "Hollywood Squares" sketch (which was a sketch about problematic celebrities, who weren't as problematic back in the 90s).
