Kelly Clarkson (born April 24, 1982) is an American singer, songwriter and occasional actress best known for being the very first winner of the Fox reality singing competition series American Idol. She appeared on Saturday Night Live as the musical guest on February 12, 2005 where she performed "Since U Been Gone" and "Breakaway" and also participated in "The Bad Subway Performers" and "Rap Night with Chubb Hotty" sketches, on March 14, 2009 where she performed "My Life Would Suck Without You" and "I Do Not Hook Up" and on January 7, 2012 where she performed "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)" and "Mr. Knows It All".
