Jon Lovitz (born July 21, 1957) is an American comedian, actor, and singer who was a cast member of Saturday Night Live from 1985 to 1990. His receeding hairline and pudgy neck typically set him up for geeky characters and "lovable jerk" roles.
After his retirement from SNL, he starred in The Critic and Newsradio and also frequently stars in small roles in comedy shows, appearing as a guest star on sitcoms and also voices a number of characters on the Fox animated series The Simpsons. He also made several cameos on the show and even hosted on November 8, 1997.
