Jonathan "Jon" Daniel Hamm (born March 10, 1971) is an American actor best known for his role as Don Draper in the period drama series Mad Men (2007–2015) for which he won numerous accolades, including a Primetime Emmy Award and two Golden Globe Awards.

Hamm is also known for his leading film roles in Stolen (2010), Million Dollar Arm (2014), Keeping Up with the Joneses (2016), Beirut (2018), and Confess, Fletch (2022), as well as his supporting roles in The Town (2010), Sucker Punch (2011), Bridesmaids (2011), Baby Driver (2017), Tag (2018), Bad Times at the El Royale (2018), The Report (2019), Richard Jewell (2019), No Sudden Move (2021), and Top Gun: Maverick (2022). He also voiced roles in the animated films Shrek Forever After (2010) and Minions (2015).

He has appeared in the Sky Arts series A Young Doctor's Notebook, the Channel 4 dystopian anthology series Black Mirror, the Amazon Prime fantasy series Good Omens, the FX superhero series Legion (2018), and the FX crime anthology series Fargo. He was Emmy-nominated for his roles in 30 Rock and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. He has also acted in Parks and Recreation, Curb Your Enthusiasm and The Morning Show.

He made his hosting debut on Saturday Night Live on October 25, 2008, the sixth episode and Halloween-themed show of Season 34, with musical guests Coldplay, the legendary British pop rock band.

Hamm returned to host Saturday Night Live for the 2nd time on January 30, 2010, the thirteenth episode of Season 35, with musical guest Michael Bublé.

Hamm returned to host Saturday Night Live again for the 3rd time on October 30, 2010, the fifth episode and Halloween-themed show of Season 36, with musical guest Rihanna.

He returned to host Saturday Night Live once again for the 4th time and his first hosting appearance in nearly 15 years on April 12, 2025, the seventeenth episode of Season 50, with musical guest Lizzo.

He also made cameos on May 14, 2011, as Ace, during the "The Ambiguously Gay Duo: The Dark, Clenched Hole Of Evil" cartoon sketch, on March 3, 2012, during the opening monologue, and Weekend Update, on May 12, 2012 as Sergio, during the 100th SNL Digital Short, on May 19, 2012 as Johnny Prosciutto, during the cold opening, on May 19, 2012, which is the Season 37, with host and musical guest Mick Jagger and special guests Arcade Fire, Foo Fighters and Jeff Beck; which coincidentally, was the final episode for longtime cast members Andy Samberg, Kristen Wiig and Abby Elliott, during The Lawrence Welk Show Cold Opening, on May 4, 2013 during the edited version of the "Darrell's House" sketch, on March 8, 2014, during "What are you even doing? You're being crazy!", on November 21, 2015 during the "Star Wars Auditions" sketch, on March 17, 2018 in the Goodnights, and on May 11, 2019 in the Goodnights again, after he was mentioned on Weekend Update.

On November 16, 2019, during the Cold Open as former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bill Taylor and introduces host/musical guest Harry Styles' second performance.

On October 1, 2022 for the season 48 premiere, hosted by actor Miles Teller, with musical guest Kendrick Lamar; which coincidentally, was the first episode for new cast members: Marcello Hernandez, Molly Kearney, Michael Longfellow and Devon Walker, during the "ManningCast" cold open in which he plays himself in a self-referential cold open about the cast exits, the new cast members, and opening Trump sketch.

He also made another two cameos in two episodes of Season 49, on April 6, 2024, the sixteenth episode, hosted by longtime former cast member Kristen Wiig, with musical guest Raye, which Wiig returned to SNL to hosted for the 5th time, which she also becomes the fifth former cast member, as well as the second former female cast member to enter the Five-Timers Club and May 18, 2024, which is the Season 49 finale, hosted by actor Jake Gyllenhaal, with musical guest Sabrina Carpenter; which coincidentally, was the final episode for cast members Punkie Johnson, Molly Kearney and Chloe Troast.
