The 941st episode and 11th episode of Saturday Night Live's 48th season premiered on January 28, 2023. It was hosted by actor Michael B. Jordan, star of the Rocky franchise spin-offs Creed, Creed II, and Creed III, and the Marvel Cinematic Universe superhero films Black Panther and its sequel Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, as well as the hit films Chronicle, Fruitvale Station, That Awkward Moment, Fantastic Four, Just Mercy, Without Remorse and Sinners. The musical guest was rapper, singer, and songwriter Lil Baby. This was Michael B. Jordan's hosting debut, as well as the 2nd appearance and the first-time as the musical guest for Lil Baby on SNL.
