The 9th episode of Season 13 and the 242nd episode of Saturday Night Live, hosted by actor and comedian, Robin Williams, star of the Night at the Museum trilogy and the hit films The World According to Garp, Moscow on the Hudson, Good Morning, Vietnam, Dead Poets Society, Awakenings, Hook, Toys, Ms. Doubtfire, Being Human, Jumanji, The Birdcage, Good Will Hunting, Patch Adams, One Hour Photo, RV, Old Dogs, and World's Greatest Dad, Flubber, Bicentennial Man, and the Disney's animated film Aladdin, and three of the hit animated films: FernGully: The Lasy Rainforest, Robots, Happy Feet and its 2011 sequel Happy Feet Two, with singer-songwriter and guitarist James Taylor as the musical guest. It premiered on January 23, 1988. This is the 4th musical guest stint for James Taylor on SNL and the third and final time hosting for Robin Williams, as well as his 5th appearance.
