Hoda Kotb (Arabic: هدى قطب Hudā Quṭb; born August 9, 1964) is an Egyptian-American television news anchor and television host best known for being the co-host of the fourth hour of the NBC morning television show Today with Kathie Lee Gifford. Although she has never been on Saturday Night Live, she has been impersonated by Michaela Watkins on January 10, 2009, February 7, 2009 and on April 11, 2009, by Jenny Slate on November 14, 2009 and on March 6, 2010 and by Nasim Pedrad on December 17, 2011, all were during the "Today" sketch. In addition, Kotb was referenced by the October 27, 2023 sketch "Trick-or-Treat with Fran Drescher".[1]
