Quentin Tarantino (born March 27, 1963) is an American film director, screenwriter, producer, cinematographer and actor best known for directing many independent films with employing nonlinear storylines and the aestheticization of violence, including Reservoir Dogs (1992), Pulp Fiction (1994), Jackie Brown (1997), Kill Bill (2003 and 2004), Death Proof (2007) and Inglorious Basterds (2009). He hosted Saturday Night Live on November 11, 1995.

He was also impersonated by Norm MacDonald on the January 10, 1998 episode during the "Quentin Tarantino: A Profile" sketch and by Fred Armisen on the October 11, 2003 episode during "The Sharon Osbourne Show" sketch.
