CNN Interview Cold Open | CNN's Jake Tapper (Beck Bennett) covers Ben Carson (Jay Pharoah) endorsing Donald Trump (onscreen appearance by Darrell Hammond), and also interviews Bernie Sanders (cameo by Larry David).
Monologue by Ariana Grande | Two-time musical guest Ariana Grande discusses being a child star and how she's ready for her first adult scandal as she hosts for her first time. Grande performs a musical number about wanting to graduate to grown-up scandals, and manages to do so mid-song by uttering "oh, shit" over the live feed. (The online version blanks the audio.) With Kenan Thompson, Cecily Strong, and Pete Davidson.
Hillary as Bernie | An advertisement from Hillary Clinton (Kate McKinnon) where she shows her resemblance to Bernie Sanders.
Kid's Choice Awards Preshow | Teen correspondents fumble as the show doesn't start on time. With Ariana Grande, Vanessa Bayer, Taran Killam, and Bobby Moynihan.
Not A Feminist Song | The women of SNL (Vanessa Bayer, Aidy Bryant, Leslie Jones, Kate McKinnon, Cecily Strong, and Sasheer Zamata) and Ariana Grande sing a song that isn't a feminist song.
Mermaids | Three sailors (Beck Bennett, Taran Killam, and Bobby Moynihan) are rescued by two pretty mermaids (Ariana Grande and Cecily Strong) and one that was part blobfish (Kate McKinnon in heavy makeup).
Ariana Grande performs "Dangerous Woman" | Larry David introduces Grande, and badly flubs her name, aborting the introduction completely.
Weekend Update with Colin Jost and Michael Che | With Cecily Strong as The Drunkest Woman On The Bachelor (to whom Colin quips, "If Leslie Jones finds out about this, we're both dead!"), and Bobby Moynihan as Riblet, who interviews himself through a supposedly-live satellite feed, signing off with the original Chevy Chase Update signoff, "Good night, and have a pleasant tomorrow."
Tidal Music breakdown | A new version of the Pandora sketch from the October 20, 2012 episode. An intern (Ariana Grande) must impersonate as many singers as possible to save a failing internet streaming service. With Kenan Thompson, Sasheer Zamata, Jay Pharoah, and Bobby Moynihan.
Celebrity Family Feud | Steve Harvey (Kenan Thompson) hosts Celebrity Family Feud. The teams are actors (Ariana Grande as Jennifer Lawrence, Kate McKinnon as Tilda Swinton, Beck Bennett as Javier Bardem, and Jay Pharoah as Idris Elba) versus directors (Taran Killam as Quentin Tarantino, Jon Rudnitsky as Martin Scorsese, Kyle Mooney as Woody Allen, and Bobby Moynihan as Kevin Smith). Voiceover by Steve Higgins.
Ariana Grande performs "Be Alright" | Larry David introduces Grande again and he gets it right.
The Sound of Music | As the nuns (Vanessa Bayer, Aidy Bryant, Kate McKinnon, Cecily Strong, and Sasheer Zamata) sing the classic "How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?", Maria (Ariana Grande) overhears and confronts them.
Goodbyes | She thanked Larry David, Lorne and the cast of Saturday Night Live. She loved everyone; this a dream come true and this has been the best. |
