The 12th episode of Season 41 and the 799th episode of Saturday Night Live premiered on February 6, 2016, hosted by former SNL writer, comedian and actor Larry David, star of the HBO's hit comedy of matters series Curb Your Enthusiasm, with musical guests The 1975, who performing "The Sound" and "Love Me". This was the first time that Larry David hosted, and this is also the musical guest debut on SNL for The 1975.
