The 14th episode of Season 36 and the 694th episode of Saturday Night Live, hosted by former longtime cast member Dana Carvey with rock band Linkin Park as the musical guest. It premiered on February 5, 2011. This is Dana Carvey's 4th hosting stint, and his first appearance in over a decade. This is also Linkin Park's 2nd and last musical guest appearance on SNL.
The last time Carvey hosted the show was on October 21, 2000, the third episode and Halloween show of SNL's 26th season with musical guests The Wallflowers.
Linkin Park previously made their musical guest debut on May 12, 2007, the nineteenth episode and Mother's Day show of SNL's 32nd season, hosted by another longtime former cast member Molly Shannon.
"Alright! These are my two boys — Tom and Dex! Thanks to Linkin Park, Justin Bieber, Jon Lovitz, MIKE MYERS! The BEST! CAST! EVER!" is the goodnights speech for Dana Carvey.
