The 903rd episode and 14th episode of Saturday Night Live's 46th season premiered on February 27, 2021, with host and musical guest Nick Jonas, the lead singer of the Jonas Brothers. This will be the fifth and final of five consecutive shows starting January 30, the fifth and final time this happened in this season of the show. This is Nick Jonas' first time hosting SNL. This is also his 2nd solo musical guest appearance and he made his 4th musical guest stint on SNL.
Nick Jonas made his first appearance when he was on the pop rock band Jonas Brothers for their two musical guest appearances on SNL on the following dates: On February 14, 2009, the sixteenth episode of SNL's 34th season, hosted by actor Alec Baldwin and on May 11, 2019, the twentieth (and penultimate) episode, as well as the Mother's Day show of SNL's 44th season, hosted by British actress Emma Thompson.
He also previously made his solo musical guest debut back on April 16, 2016, the eighteenth episode of SNL's 41st season, hosted by former Ebersol-era cast member Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
