The 5th episode of Season 33 and the 629th episode of Saturday Night Live premiered on February 23, 2008, hosted by longtime former cast member and head writer Tina Fey, creator and star of 30 Rock, with musical guest Carrie Underwood, a country singer. Tina Fey's first-time as host was made, and this is also the 2nd musical guest appearance on SNL for Carrie Underwood.
This marked the first episode for Casey Wilson as a cast member.
