The 901st episode and 12th episode of Saturday Night Live's 46th season premiered on February 13, 2021, and it was hosted by actress Regina King, star of the NBC's hit classic sitcom 227, and the hit films Poetic Justice, Friday, Daddy Day Care, Flag Day, This Christmas, If Beale Street Could Talk, Ray, and The Harder They Fall, with musical guest Nathaniel Rateliff. Regina King made her hosting debut, and this is also the musical guest debut on SNL for Nathaniel Rateliff.
This is the third of five consecutive shows starting January 30, the third time this happened in this season of the show.
The goodnights speech for Regina King is "Thanks to Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats and Thank You to the amazing Cast and Crew and Writers and Mr. Lorne Michaels, I love you, Mom. I love You, Rena. I love you, Ian, I did it." (Cheers and applause)
