The 13th episode of Season 41 and the 800th episode of Saturday Night Live premiered on February 13, 2016, hosted by actress and comedian Melissa McCarthy, star of the hit films Identity Thief, The Heat, Tammy, St. Vincent, Spy, The Boss, Life of the Party, Can You Forgive Me?, The Kitchen, Superintelligence, and Thunder Force, with rapper Kanye West as the musical guest. This is Melissa McCarthy's 4th time as the host and the 6th musical guest appearance on SNL for Kanye West.
