She is one of the four Maharelle sisters from the Finger Lakes, who perform on The Lawrence Welk Show sketch. Her sisters are three attractive and flirtatious young women, contrasting with Dooneese, who has an extremely large forehead, tiny hands the size of an infant's, and an odd canine tooth.
In every performance, the sisters take turns singing, with Dooneese singing last. Her contribution is always inappropriate, albeit not usually sexual or rude. She frequently makes advances on any men in the performance. She gets along with her sister, Andrina.
