The 818th episode and 10th episode of Saturday Night Live's42nd season premiered on December 17, 2016. It was hosted by actor and filmmaker Casey Affleck star of the hit films, Lonesome Jim,Gone Baby Gone,Tower Heist,ParaNorman,Interstellar,Ain't Them Bodies Saints,Manchester by the Sea and A Ghost Story, with rapper and singer-songwriter Chance The Rapper as the musical guest, who performed a mashup of "Finish Line" and "Drown" featuring Noname and "Same Drugs" and made two sketch appearances in the prerecorded Jingle Barack and the New York Now sketch. This was Casey Affleck's hosting debut, after his older brother and fellow actor Ben Affleck hosted 5 times. This was also the second time as musical guest on SNL for Chance the Rapper.
