The 9th episode of Season 37 and the 711th episode of Saturday Night Live premiered on December 10, 2011, hosted by the pop singer Katy Perry and the musical guest was Robyn, a Swedish pop singer, who performed "Call Your Girlfriend" and "Dancing on My Own." This was the only musical guest appearance that Robyn made, and this was also the 2nd appearance, as well as the first time hosting for Katy Perry.
