Björk Guðmundsdóttir (born November 21, 1965), known simply as Björk, is an Icelandic singer-songwriter who was the lead vocalist of the Icelandic rock band The Sugarcubes and is best known for her role as Selma Ježková in the 2000 Danish musical drama film Dancer in the Dark.

She appeared on Saturday Night Live as a musical guest thrice, once with The Sugarcubes and twice solo. The first time was on October 15, 1988 with The Sugarcubes where they performed "Birthday" and "Motorcrash," the second time was on October 18, 1997 where she performed "Bachelorette" and the third time was on April 21, 2007 where she performed "Earth Intruders" and "Wanderlust."

She was also impersonated by Molly Shannon on the May 10, 1997 episode during the "Talkin' with Suel" sketch, by Winona Ryder on the May 18, 2002 episode during the "Celebrity Jeopardy!" sketch and by Kristen Wiig on the October 13, 2007 episode during the "Iconoclasts" sketch, on the February 7, 2009 episode during the Weekend Update segment, on the April 17, 2010 episode during the "Larry King Live" sketch and on the February 11, 2012 episode during the "Bein' Quirky with Zooey Deschanel" sketch.
