William Thomas "Bill" Hader Jr. (born June 7, 1978) is an American comedian, actor, voice actor, producer, and writer best known for his work on SNL from 2005 to 2013.

Personal Life[edit | edit source]

Bill Hader was born on June 7, 1978, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He attended the Art Institute of Phoenix and Scottsdale Community College. In 2006, he married actor-director Maggie Carey. They have three daughters: Hannah, born in 2009, Harper, born in 2012, and Hayley, born in 2014.

Career[edit | edit source]

Before SNL, Hader was a comedian in the Upright Citizen's Brigade Los Angeles and in Second City Los Angeles.

Hader joined SNL in 2005 as a featured cast member, joining Jason Sudeikis and Andy Samberg as a Featured Player. He has also acted in many films, such as Superbad, Year One, and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.

He won a 2014 American Comedy Award for his work on SNL.
