Aretha Franklin (1942-2018) was an American singer, songwriter and musical guest that appared on Saturday Night Live on December 6, 1980 and March 12, 1994.
She also played a supporting role in both Blues Brothers films, starring the former Not Ready for Prime Time Players John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd.
Miss Franklin has been impersonated by Tracy Morgan, Kenan Thompson and Leslie Jones.
