The 905th episode and 16th episode of Saturday Night Live's 46th season premiered on April 3, 2021, hosted by British actor Daniel Kaluuya, star of the hit films, Get Out, Marvel Studios superhero film Black Panther, Widows, Queen & Slim, A Christmas Carol, Judas and the Black Messiah, Nope and the animated superhero film Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, with musical guest St. Vincent. This was the 2nd appearance and first time hosting for Daniel Kaluuya and St. Vincent's 2nd musical guest appearance and her first appearance in 6 years on SNL.
St. Vincent previously made her musical guest debut was on May 17, 2014, which is the Season 39 finale, hosted by longtime former cast member Andy Samberg, star of FOX's/NBC's hit police procedural comedy series Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
