The 847th episode and 18th episode of Saturday Night Live's 43rd season premiered on April 14, 2018, hosted by former longtime SNL writer, stand-up comedian and actor John Mulaney, with musical guest Jack White. This is the first time Mulaney hosted, as well as his hosting debut and Jack White made his 2nd solo musical guest appearance and his 3rd musical guest stint on SNL.

This sketch was originally written for Zach Galifianakis' episode in Season 35, but never made it to the air, nor was it cut for time.

Weekend Update with Colin Jost and Michael Che Weekend Update anchors Colin Jost and Michael Che tackle the week's biggest news including the FBI raiding the home, office and hotel of Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump's former lawyer and an Oklahoma teacher being arrested for having sex with a student during a walkout. With guests, Fox News anchor Laura Ingraham (Kate McKinnon) shares some of her new sponsors and LaVar Ball (Kenan Thompson) explains stats from his son Lonzo's year with the Lakers.
Hollywood Update   The creator (John Mulaney) of Switcheroo explains why he brought back the show, about a father (Beck Bennett) and son that switches bodies. Cecily Strong plays the host Mara Schultz. Also Features Mikey Day as the singer and Heidi Gardner as the mother.
Horns   A man named Lucien (Luke Null) consults a doctor (John Mulaney) about having his horns removed. Also Features Heidi Gardner as Lucien's girlfriend.
