Alfred "Al" Sharpton, Jr. (born October 3, 1954) is an American Baptist minister, civil rights activist and television/radio talk show host who was a candidate for the Democratic nomination for the 2004 U.S. presidential election and is best known for being the host of the MSNBC political talk show PoliticsNation with Al Sharpton and the daily national talk radio program Keepin' It Real with Al Sharpton. He hosted Saturday Night Live on December 6, 2003.

He was also impersonated by Jerry Minor on the December 9, 2000 and January 20, 2001 episodes, both during the Weekend Update segment, by Tracy Morgan five times from November 16, 2002 to December 6, 2003 and currently by Kenan Thompson from January 10, 2004 to October 6, 2012.
